This daily supplement combines Saffron Extract with L-Theanine and Theobromine which claims to support positive mood, emotional balance, and smooth non-jittery focus. Claims state that saffron aids daily stress management, L-Theanine promotes calm mental clarity, and theobromine offers a steady energy boost. However, because it alters mood pathways, use caution when combining it with other mood prescriptions or supplements. Mixing this formula with SSRIs, SNRIs, or other natural serotonin enhancers (like 5-HTP or St. John’s Wort) carries a risk of interaction or serotonin toxicity. I always try to cross reference my supplements before starting any, or talking to a dr, just to make sure I'm not overlapping (doubling) supplements or the risk for bad interactions. Anyways, since I already take wellbutrin, I can say there were no bad interactions and the supplement did seem to boost my mood slightly and help with focus when taken in the a.m. Overall, I'm happy with this product, I think it's been a beneficial addition to my supplement routine. It's definitely worth trying and I do trust this brand, I've had other supplements made by them.
Serving size is one capsule, so there's a three month supply here. Smaller capsule that's easy to swallow. The benefits look promising.
I've been taking saffron supplements on and off for a few years now, sometimes as gummies, but mostly in capsule form like these. In my experience, I believe that they tend to boost my mood and can be helpful with my mental focus in general. This formula has two additional ingredients. One of these, L-theanine, is a favorite of mine. That's believed to help with stress and maintaining normal sleep patterns. The other, Theobromine, is derived from cocoa, and based on what I've read it may help with cognitive function. These provide 88.5 mg of saffron per one-capsule serving. Based on my prior experience that's fairly standard, but I've had some saffron supplements that provided as little as 30 mg.I like that these are manufactured and tested in the USA.The capsules are easy to use: They're of average size and are easy to swallow. They have no taste. Each recommended serving consists of one capsule. With 90 in the jar that means that this will last three months, which I think makes this an extremely good value, particularly because of the complementary additional ingredients: Recommended.
I am so incredibly happy with this EVERYDAY NUTRITION Saffron Supplement! I work in an environment with patients and demanding, noisy kids, alongside managing the constant ups and downs of everyday mothering. Finding something that helps keep your stress levels in check is absolutely essential, and this capsule blend has been an absolute lifesaver.I genuinely believe this supplement helps me feel significantly more chill, balanced, and patient throughout the craziest parts of my day. The combination of saffron, L-Theanine, and theobromine provides an excellent, steady sense of calm without making me feel drowsy or sluggish when I need to stay sharp. The capsules are easy to swallow, have zero weird aftertaste, and have completely upgraded my daily routine. It is a fantastic, reliable mood support supplement that I highly recommend to any busy parent or professional dealing with high-stress environments!
I like the combination in this supplement. It pairs saffron with L-theanine and theobromine, which makes more sense to me than another product built around a huge dose of caffeine. I’m mainly using it for mood support, calmer focus, and a little natural energy without feeling overstimulated. The label clearly lists the amount of each ingredient, and I appreciate that nothing is hidden inside a vague proprietary blend. The 200 mg of L-theanine is a solid dose, and the bottle contains 90 capsules, so it’s also a reasonably priced three-month supply. My only reservation is that the saffron is listed as a 4:1 extract without saying how much crocin or safranal it contains. Since the better research on saffron generally uses standardized extracts, I’d like more detail about exactly what I’m getting. The mood and focus claims are more convincing to me than the broader eye and heart-health claims, but overall this is still a thoughtful and interesting formula. Four stars.
